The roman city of Chester, why not explore the roman walls of the city whilst stopping off for a coffee overlooking Chester Racecourse at The Architect as well as many other beautiful bars and restaurants.

Chester Zoo is a must along with Blue Planet Aquarium, Cheshire Ice cream Farm and Bewilderwood if you are coming with a family and want to entertain the children.  

 

However if you want to explore the countryside in more depth then definitely don't miss out on the breath-taking views and scenic drives to Llangollen, Bala, Nant Mill country park or Snowdonia National Park.
